Sublima Table Top Gantry

Since the end of 2012 I have been working for Delft Technical University. I am working as a design-engineer for research groups. Currently I finished a project for or a research group in proton-beam-therapy and Positron-emission-tomography (PET) at the physics faculty.

I designed and built a rotation-gantry, with motion-control for 7 drives. The setup simulates hospital PET ring detectors, by moving through positions of a pre-defined geometry. The motioncontrol is controlled through a CNC protocol and acquisition of data through Labview.

The mechnical setup without detectors.
